To the Editor:
Americans should vote because people risked their lives for the right. People have no control over changes if they don't vote. If someone doesn't vote but hopes someone becomes president and he doesn't win, it could be their fault they lost. Voting makes things fair because they get to express their feelings about budgets, presidents, and local problems. Voting allows people a chance to say who they want for president and their opinions on local problems. The residents of Selma, Alabama were willing to risk their lives for the right to vote. Everyone should vote because they were given the right to and people risked their lives for the right to vote. In conclusion, voting is important.
