KINGSTON —The Kingston Conservation Commission will be kicking off its celebration of the Town’s 325th anniversary with a canoe and kayak paddle of the Powwow River, leaving the New Boston Road bridge and cartop launch area, paddling south past the Webster Wildlife Area and through the surrounding Atlantic white cedar fen to Country Pond and back.
The paddle will start at 9:30 a.m. on Sat., May 11. Bring your canoe or kayak, your personal floatation device and bug repellant. The round trip is less than five miles, but we will travel at a leisurely pace, observing marsh flora and fauna and watching for birds as you go.
Please contact Evy Nathan at email@example.com or call Peter Coffin at 603-642-7792 to let them know that you are coming. Rain date is May 25.
