EXETER — Exeter Parks & Recreation has joined the newly formed NH Esports league, which consists of more than ten different Parks & Recreation Departments from across New Hampshire. This league, which is organized and officiated by GGLeagues, offers families the opportunity to game in a safe and monitored environment. Not only will players in this league reside in the Granite State, but each league also has age parameters, and some offer “beginner” and “competitive” formats. Although this is a recreational league and the intent is for fun, there will be standings, playoffs, and one champion per game.

The winter season will begin on January 16, 2021, and end on February 20, 2021. The last week will include playoffs for the top 4 teams in each division.

Registration for the winter season is open until January 6, 2021. Once you have registered with Exeter Parks & Recreation (email dtovey@exeternh.gov) you will need to create an account with GGLeagues. If you are registering for more than one league, you will need to select each league at the time of registration with EPRD, as well as GGLeagues.

1. Create an account on GGLeagues platform: www.ggleagues.com

2. Create a team: www.ggleagues.com/teams/new. A team is needed even if you are playing in a single-player league.

3. Register for the league you would like to participate in at www.ggleagues.com/organization/exeter.

The cost is $20.00 per person per league. The fee includes a sponsor code, which is used on GGLeagues website during the registration process. This code will be emailed or given at the time of registration.
