NEWMARKET —- New Hampshire's first and largest nationally-competitive Jump Rope team, Extreme Air, will host its annual tryouts on Sat., September 21 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Newmarket High School in Newmarket. The tryouts are open to athletes age 8+ (by December 31) from throughout the Northeast region.
In addition, the Extreme Air of New Hampshire jump rope team will host a workshop on the Saturday prior to tryouts, September 14, also at Newmarket High School in Newmarket, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The workshop is open to athletes age 6+ that are interested in learning basic and advanced single rope and double-dutch speed and freestyle jump rope skills. USA Jump rope certified coaches and judges will oversee the jump rope workshop.
Attendees can register for either event day of starting at 9:30 a.m. or in advance at www.familyid.com (search for 'Extreme Air'). Parking and tryout entry are free to the public. There is a $15.00 registration fee for the workshop.
Extreme Air of New Hampshire is a non-profit (501c3) organization dedicated to promoting the sport of jump rope by training amateur athletes for national competition and by educating the public about the benefits of jump rope as a fun, physically challenging and rewarding activity for individuals of all ages and abilities.
