RAYMOND —The 17th annual RHS Alumni Association golf outing was held on June 25 at Candia Woods. The low gross award went to the team of Ryan Johnson, Dan Johnson, Dave Anzalone, and Jake Yaris with 60. The first net prize went to Jay Long, Gary Knowlton, Glenn Gosselin and Frank Crumb with 54. Second net also with a 54 was the team of John Porter, Jeff Porter, Tony Fiel, and Mike Healey. Third net also at 54 went to the team of Bud Dodge, Scott Ross, Nick Usher, and Don Moulton. (Net placement determined by a match of cards.) Low net of 57 award for the all ladies team went to Denise Johnson, Karen Turcotte, Claire Kounelas and Shirley Dodge.

Special prizes were awarded: Longest Drive on Hole #10 for Senior Men to Roger Paradis and Longest Drive for Men under 75 to Ryan Johnson. Longest Drive on Hole #10 for Senior Ladies to Sally Paradis and Longest Drive for Ladies under 75 to Denise Johnson. Nearest to Pin on Hole #8 to Glenn Gosselin, and Nearest to Pin on Hole #15 to Frank Crumb.

The event’s Platinum Donor was I. C. Reed & Sons, Inc.

The event’s Gold Donors were John (Jack) Ornell, RHS Class of 1975 and Hi-Volt Electric Line Construction & Maintenance, Inc.

Silver Donors included Seacoast United Sports, and Wal*Mart Distribution Center of Raymond.

Bronze Donor sponsorships were shared by D. F. Richard Inc., Gemini Valve and Littlewoods Landscaping.

Morning coffee and doughnuts were served during golfers’ registration for the 17th consecutive year, compliments of Dunkin Donuts of Raymond!

Thanks to the W. J. Stewart Insurance Agency for sponsoring the putting contest. (Alas, no one walked away with the $10,000 prize!)

The big winner of the day was the RHS Alumni Scholarship Fund that realized over $10,500 from the event and will ensure that four scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each can be awarded in 2020. The Association is proud to announce that since 2000, $138,000 has been awarded to RHS seniors by the Association through the proceeds of the annual golf outing. The Association extends its thanks and appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of the outing this year in any way—you are all on a winning team!
