ATKINSON — The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays) and the New Hampshire Lions will team up on Sat., August 24 at Delta Dental Stadium as the Fisher Cats take on the Binghamton Rumble Ponies (Double-A affiliate of the New York Mets) at 7:05 p.m.

The New Hampshire Lions, part of the largest service organization in the world, will support the Fisher Cats and promote “Lionism” at the ballpark by handing out 100 free backpacks and encouraging fans to donate used glasses at the Eastern Bank Guest Services Center. The backpacks will include crayons and coloring books from the Lions youth services group.

The major service themes of Lionism are sight and hearing, diabetes, hunger, childhood cancer and the environment. The Lions support projects that prevent blindness and improve vision and hearing, and will bring vision screeners to the ballpark for fans to try. The Lions Soap Box Derby Cars will also be on display at the stadium, providing a fun photo opportunity for kids.

The game will feature a spectacular postgame Atlas Fireworks show, presented by Your New England Ford Dealers, and Hood Kids Club members can join the Fisher Cats on the field for the national anthem.

Tickets to the game on Sat., August 24 are available online at, over the phone at 603-641-2005, or at the Fisher Cats Box Office at One Line Drive in Manchester.
