NEWTON —Gale Library in Newton is pleased to present “The Amazing Health Benefits of Acupuncture” with a focus on its role in orthopedics and sports medicine with Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist Dr. Steffi Koerner on Wed., October 2 at 6:00 p.m.
Dr. Koerner specializes in Orthopedic Acupuncture. She treats migraine and tension headaches, recovery from trauma/ surgery, side effects of cancer treatment, any pain condition, allergies, digestive disorders, sleep problems, gynecological issues/ fertility, TMJ issues, psycho-emotional concerns (e.g. anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD), recovery from drug addiction and detoxification.
In addition, Dr. Koerner has a background in treating professional athletes, professional musicians and students from the Berklee School of Music as well as Tufts University.
Dr. Koerner graduated as Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture/MCPHS, the oldest school of Oriental Medicine in the United States. She holds licenses to practice in MA and NH.
