Senior Resource Fair Successful

LARRY KENNEDY/CTN

The first annual Kingston Senior Resource Fair was held at the Kingston Congregational Church, Church Street in Kingston. The first program offered was the six-week Savvy Caregiver class which is for anyone involved in caring for a family member or friend with dementia or Alzheimer’s Disease. The training was provided by Anne Marie Olsen-Hayward, LICSW, with Frisbee Memorial Hospital Geriatric Psychiatry Services. Alzheimer’s Association also provided a “Train the Trainer” program for the following police departments: Kingston, East Kingston, Newton, and South Hampton, so they could provide direct training to all of their officers. The fair was one of several efforts initiated by the family of Faith M. Hume of Kingston. If you would like to make a donation, please make your check payable to Frisbee Memorial Hospital, 11 Whitehall Road, Rochester, NH 03867. Attention: Fund Development. Please make a note that the donation is for the Kingston Savvy Caregiver’s Class.
