Nichols College has welcomed the newest members of their Class of 2025. Local students enrolled includes Shelby Eason of Atkinson and Nathan MacDonald of Kensington.

The following local residents have earned a degree from Simmons University in Boston: Sydney DeVogt of Exeter earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and Samantha Gagnon of Plaistow earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing magna cum laude.

The College of Holy Cross is excited to welcome Olivia Wahl of Brentwood as a member of the College’s Class of 2025. At 822 students, the Class of 2025 includes students from 33 states and 15 nations across the globe. This year’s incoming class is made up of 54 percent women and 46 percent men, with 23 percent of students coming from ethnically diverse backgrounds and 16 percent as proud first-generation college students.

The University of Hartford congratulates Natalie Livingston of Sandown for graduating in May of 2021.

Allyson Viens of Hampstead graduated from Hofstra University in May 2021, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminology.

Emily Query, who hails from Plaistow, has been named to Purchase College’s Dean’s List for the spring 2021 semester. Query is studying Graphic Design.

The following local students have been named to the Dean’s List at Bates College for the winter semester ending in May 2021: Ethan King of Exeter and Cammie Lavoie of Epping.

The following local residents were named to Clark University’s spring Dean’s List: Emily J. Abney of Fremont, first honors; Mia E. Swartz of Exeter, first honors; Sarah A. Bibeau of Newton, first honors; Kiley E. Simmons of Atkinson, first honors; Anna L. Walker of Exeter, first honors and Holden N. Moore of Exeter, second honors.

Shannon O’Neil of Plaistow and Austin Smith of Sandown have been named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2021 semester at Florida Institute of Technology.

The following local residents were named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2021 semester at Simmons University in Boston: Julianna Re of Epping, Sofia Rebeil of Exeter, Courtney Gelina of Kingston, Mary Miller of Newton, and Emma McKenney of South Hampton.

Utah State University is excited to welcome more than 4,100 first-year college students to campus as the university begins the fall 2021 semester. The following local students were admitted and began recently at the college: Jack Wilson of Exeter, Casey Bergeron of Exeter, and Gavin Bly of Exeter. All three will attend USU at the USU Main campus.

This fall’s incoming undergraduate class at the University of Iowa — a group that includes Eric Ihloff of Hampstead — has yet again topped previous records in achievement with a higher average high school grade-point average (GPA), at 3.81, than any previous class. The average high school GPA for the classes of 2024 and 2023 were 3.78 and 3.76, respectively. Ihloff is majoring in Distance and Online Nondegree in Iowa’s University College.
