Alexander Herron of East Hampstead graduated from Hofstra University in May 2019, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management.

Four freshmen nursing students from Great Bay Community College (GBCC) were recently awarded $2,000 in nursing scholarships thanks to a generous donation – and three-year financial commitment – made by the residents at RiverWoods Exeter. The four GBCC students are Kurtis Leonard of Greenland, Niomi DeRoy of Somersworth, Allison Welch of Kingston and Hannah VanAuken of Durham. Now in the second year, nursing scholarships are intended to attract individuals who are interested in healthcare career options in the aging care field.

Inspired to excel, 897 members of the Class of 2019 were awarded a Bryant University degree at the 156th Commencement ceremony on May 18, 2019. These accomplished graduates join a powerful network of more than 50,000 alumni around the world who have distinguished themselves as leaders in their organizations and communities: Cameron Donnelly of Atkinson, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Accounting; Nikolas Marks of Brentwood, Bachelor of Science in International Business degree in IB: Global Supply Chain Management; and Lindsey Mucci of Brentwood, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Leadership & Innovation Management.

Emily Porazinski of Exeter has graduated from the University of Albany at the college’s 175th Commencement exercises. Emily received a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude.

The following local residents were among the students who received their degrees in May as part Roger Williams University of the Class of 2019: Caitlin Agneta of Plaistow, Summa Cum Laude with a degree in B.S. in Criminal Justice; Austin Clough of Fremont, Magna Cum Laude with a degree in B.S. in Engineering (mechanical Engr. Specialization); Julia Collopy of Exeter, B.S. in Architecture; Sara Hunt of Kingston, Summa Cum Laude with a degree in B.S. in Chemistry; and Felicia MacQuarrie of Kensington, B.A. in Communication & Media Studies.

Kayla Doherty of Plaistow has been named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2019 semester at The College of Our Lady of the Elms.

At the University of Rhode Island's 133rd Commencement on May 18-19, 2019, about 3,400 undergraduate and 740 graduate students became the University's newest alumni. The following local students graduated: Jake Michael Bartlett of Kingston, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management; Cassie Ari Chartier of Exeter, Bachelor of Science Chemistry, Magna Cum Laude; Eden Katherine Clare Fitzgerald of Kensington, Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science; Nicole Kenneally of East Hampstead, Bachelor of Arts Elementary Education Bachelor of Arts English; Zoe Bea Pugliese of Epping, Doctor of Pharmacy, Cum Laude; and Brady P Quinn of Exeter, Doctor of Pharmacy, Cum Laude.

Ava Russell of Sandown and Brandon Zahler of Raymond have been named to the 2019 Dean's List at Union College.
