EXETER —Exeter Adult Education welcomes non-native speakers of English to join English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESL) classes. Beginner through advanced English language learners can improve their English speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and pronunciation skills. Multiple levels of instruction are offered. Participation in ESL classes provides a wonderful opportunity to meet other adults from around the world and to make new friends.
ESL classes are held at Exeter Adult Education at the Tuck Learning Campus, Entrance D, 30 Linden Street, Exeter. Day classes are held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Additional instruction in reading or technology meets from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Evening classes meet Monday and Thursday from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. Classes for the Fall 2021 session begin the week of September 13. Registration begins on Mon., September 13 at 9:00 a.m. for morning students or 6:30 p.m. for evening program students. Registration is ongoing until classes fill up.
ESL class placement is determined by an intake assessment, so all prospective students should come to the registration event on Mon., September 13, or call to schedule a registration appointment if they cannot attend on September 13.
