NEWBURYPORT, MA — Call for high-school students: Are you looking for a meaningful way to spend your spring break?

Join the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as they journey to seven environmentally-minded organizations to hear about their jobs and carry out a service project.

Topics will include marketing, solar installation, organics spa care, research, policy, advocacy, education, maintenance, law enforcement, and land stewardship. You will learn about a variety of environmental jobs, make professional contacts for internships, and earn volunteer hours. They are currently looking for high school students who are interested in participating during spring break (April 20-24). You can attend one day or them all.

There is no charge to attend. You must pre-register. Email Lauren Healey at lauren_healey@fws.gov now to express your interest and secure your spot.
