FREMONT/EAST KINGSTON – Wreaths of Remembrance will be placed at Arlington National Cemetery as well as at town and city monuments across the United States as a part of the Wreaths Across America Program. Honoring those who have defended our country helps us remember and appreciate their service and our freedom.

A Wreath of Remembrance will be placed at the Veterans Memorial Monument in front of the Fremont Town Hall on Sat., December 14, at 12:00 p.m. The Peoples United Methodist Church will present the wreath and lead a brief service honoring our troops both past and present. Refreshments will be served in the Town Hall following the ceremony.

Also on Sat., December 14, at 12:00 p.m., a Wreath of Remembrance will be placed at the Veterans Memorial Stone outside of the East Kingston Fire Station. The East Kingston Community United Methodist Church will present the wreath and lead a brief service honoring our troops both past and present. Refreshments will be served at the East Kingston Community United Methodist Church following the ceremony. All are welcome.
