EXETER —Novice to experienced wine aficionados and serious foodies will have the best of all possible worlds at their fingertips on Thurs., April 23 when the Exeter and Hampton Chambers of Commerce present the 2015 Toast to the Coast. Come and enjoy a wide selection of fine wines, craft brews, ales plus food samples from some of the best the Seacoast has to offer. This extraordinary night out will be held at the newly renovated Ashworth by the Sea in Hampton.

The 2015 version of “Toast to the Coast” offers a sampling of mouthwatering hors d’oeuvres from 6:30-8:30 p.m. from some of the fine restaurants in the area including: The Old Salt, Epoch, Kume, 401 Tavern, Tavern at River’s Edge, Purple Urchin and many more. Samples of wines and brews from many of the local wineries and breweries including; Flag Hill Winery & Distillery, Jewell Towne Vineyards, Samuel Adams, Sweet Baby Vineyard, Zorvino Vineyards, Smoky Quartz Distillery, and many more.

A special VIP “Cellar Select” Tasting, sponsored by Taste of the Seacoast, will be offered from 5:30–6:30 p.m. featuring a private sampling of superior wines, top shelf brews, and spirits. Tickets purchased for the VIP tasting includes entrance into general tasting.

“General Tasting” ticket pricing will be $40.00 in advance; $50.00 at the door. VIP “Cellar Select” Tasting ticket pricing will be $60.00 in advance only. (Sorry, no tickets will be sold at the door for the VIP Tasting.) Tickets are available for purchase online at www.exeterarea.org, or at the Exeter Area Chamber of Commerce office, located at 24 Front Street in Exeter. Tickets may also be purchased at the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce located at 1 Lafayette Road in Hampton.
