EAST KINGSTON – One out of every three bites of food we eat are possible because of pollinators like honeybees. Billions of honeybees are trucked around the country by commercial beekeepers who move them from farm to orchard to pollinate our food crops. The Pollinators tells the story of this amazing annual migration through the eyes of beekeepers, farmers and scientists who warn that the bees and our food supply are in peril.
You are invited to a special screening of the documentary, “The Pollinators”, on Wed., December 4 at 6:30 p.m. in Newington, at the Regal Fox Run Stadium 15 & RPX. A discussion will follow.
Reserve your tickets online (and view the trailer) at https://tickets.demand.film/event/9145. Note that tickets cannot be sold at the door.
The screening is hosted by Pollinator Pathways, whose mission is to restore habitat, one yard at a time.
