FREMONT - On Wed., May 14, at 6:30 p.m., The Friends of the Fremont Library will present a program titled, “Social Media - What’s the big deal?”

Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn: what is all this stuff and should I care? Social media changes faster than the New England weather. It’s difficult to jump in when it’s a moving target. How do you know what is useful, fun, safe, relevant? And how do you control your information and not waste your time.

Join us for an informational session at the Fremont Library. What you’ll learn: What is Social Media; Why should I care; What should I do, if anything; and What should I stay away from.

Information session will be conducted by Susan Gold, founder and principal of Gold & Partners, a marketing consulting agency located in Portsmouth. Susan Gold has over 30 years of strategic marketing experience, specializing in planning, brand management and positioning, awareness building, demand creation, lead generation and strategic sales support. In that time, she has held numerous executive marketing positions in a range of industries including high technology, professional services, financial services, industrial and hospitality. Currently, Mrs. Gold works closely with small businesses to help them increase their customer base and grow revenue.

This program is free and open to the public. It will be held at the Fremont Library. All are welcome.
