KINGSTON — The 2014 VICA (New Hampshire Vocational Clubs of America) Leadership Skills USA Championships were recently held all over the State of New Hampshire. The students from Seacoast School of Technology in Exeter received two first place awards: one in welding and the second to the team of three in welding/fabrication. These students have earned the honor of representing the State of New Hampshire in the National Skills USA Championship, which will be held June 23-27 in Kansas City, Missouri.

It will cost approximately $967.50 to send each student to the National Competition. The parents of the students are trying to raise funds for them to represent the State in the Nationals.

A fundraiser will be held on Sat., May 10, from 3:00-5:00 p.m., at the Masonic Hall, located on Church Street, in Kingston. Enjoy raffles and a bake sale with proceeds to support the students trip to the Nationals. All donations toward the trip are tax deductible. Your support is appreciated.
