The Town of Fremont’s annual Memorial Day Parade will be celebrated beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Sun., May 27. The parade leaves from the Town Hall, proceeds to the Pratt Memorial Park on Sandown Road, south on Main Street to the Village Cemetery and Olde Meetinhouse with tributes along the way.
The public is invited to join this very special tribute. Groups and organizations are welcome to participate.

Danville’ American Legion Post 115 and the Town of Danville will sponsor the annual Memorial Day Parade and Observance on Sat., May 26 at 10:00 a.m. The parade is being dedicated to Capt. Jonathan Grassbaugh of Hampstead who died on April 18 in Iraq and to all who have died during this present conflict from New Hampshire.
The parade will assemble at the Danville Elementary School at 9:00 a.m. and will step off at 10:00 a.m. Participants will then march up Main Street (111A) to the Veterans Memorial where a short ceremony will be held.
On Sat., May 26 please show your support for the members of our Armed Forces and to remember all who served and made the ultimate sacrifice.
All Veterans are invited to walk, ride, or join at the Memorial. Call any Legion member for transportation.
Each Memorial Day Americans come together to honor all of the brave citizens who have fought for the United States. The Town of Atkinson has set aside this special day to honor the memory of the men and women who were courageous enough to give their lives for their country and the well being of those less fortunate. Atkinson has a continuing tradition of holding a parade to remember those who served our country though all the battles, conflicts, and wars. Each year at the parade veterans join to be honored for their courage and to remember all those who served and lost their lives.
The Atkinson Recreation Memorial Day Parade Committee invites all the veterans, the families to march in their honor and invites all residents to join the parade and ceremony at Dow Common immediately after the parade. The Parade be held on Mon., May 28 and will start at 5:00 p.m. All participants will meet to line up at the Atkinson Town Hall at 4:30p.m.
The Atkinson Women’s Civic Club is holding Decoration Contest for tricycle, Bicycles, wagons, and baby carriages. All the participants for decorating contest will be judged at 4:15 p.m. at Town Hall.
Please join Atkinson Fire Fighters Association for Hot Dogs and Hamburgers, Atkinson Women’s Civic Club for Chilies and wonderful music by Timberlane Community Band performance at Atkinson Firehouse after the ceremony.
