EXETER —Whether you need to start from square one or improve your existing skills, Exeter Adult Education can help.
For beginners with little computer experience, a two-week program on Email & Internet Basics begins on Thurs., January 30, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., $45.00. They also have Introduction to Computer Basics & Intermediate Computer Basics course offered on Thursday evenings for five weeks beginning March 6. The Introductory class runs from 5:30-7:00 p.m. and the Intermediate class runs from 7:00-8:30 p.m., $100.00 for either course.
Individuals with adequate typing skills and basic PC knowledge can enroll in any of the following courses:
PowerPoint for Storytelling, two-weeks, beginning Thurs., February 6, 6:00-8:00 p.m., $45.00; Introduction to Excel, five-weeks, beginning Tues., February 4, from 7:00-9:00 p.m., $95.00; Intermediate Excel, five-weeks, beginning Tues., March 19, from 7:00-9:00 p.m., $95.00; Advanced Excel, three-weeks, beginning Tues., April 30, from 7:00-9:00 p.m., $75.00; Intro to Web Site Design I, five-weeks, beginning Thurs., February 6, from 7:00-9:00 p.m., $100.00; Intro to Web Site Design II, five-weeks, beginning Thurs., March 20, from 7:00-9:00 p.m., $100.00; Introduction to Word, five-weeks, beginning Mon., March 3, from 6:00–8:30 p.m., $95.00; Learning to Use and Love Social Media, four-weeks, beginning Thurs., March 6, 6-8pm, $80.00; Introduction to PowerPoint, two-weeks, beginning Mon., April 7, 6:00-8:30pm, $50.00.
All computer courses are taught in a Windows 7 environment using Microsoft Office 2010 and are designed for different levels of experience. Those who have limited or no experience with a PC and Windows should take the Introduction to Computer Basics prior to other courses. All other courses are for those confident with Windows and who have good keyboarding and mouse skills.
