HAMPSTEAD — Hampstead Lions Club is pleased to announce the annual town parade is on! It has been previously reported that it wasn’t going to happen. This is true. Hampstead Fireman’s Association decided to not continue the parade. The Hampstead Lions Club formed a committee and they are going to make it happen! They are also working with the newly formed Hampstead Community Volunteers which is a group started in town based on the parade cancellation, who wanted to make it happen.
The parade is being chaired by Roxanne McGaffigan and the Hampstead Lions Club but they are trying to involve as many people as possible in the community.
The Parade is being held on Sun., December 8 at 2:00 p.m. It is their 55th annual town parade. It will start at Holiday Lane and end at the Hampstead Central School.
ANYONE can have a float, or donate, to continue the tradition they just need to fill out a form that they can request via contact information. Questions can be addressed Roxanne McGaffigan at 315-405-7905 or via email to the parade committee at email@example.com. Trophies are awarded to the top floats.
