STRATHAM – The third Art of Great Bay exhibit will open to the public with an artists’ reception at 6:30 p.m., on Fri., October 19, at the Hugh Gregg Center on the grounds of the Great Bay Discovery Center, located at 89 Depot Road on the Stratham/Greenland town line, just off Route 33. The show, sponsored by the Great Bay Stewards and free to the public, will be open October 20 and 21, from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

This is a juried show with a variety of artistic works ranging from oils, watercolors and photographs to decoys and sculpture. Works by many of the Seacoast’s best-known artists will be on exhibit and all will be for sale. Thirty percent of all the sales go to the Great Bay Discovery Center’s education program. This is a rare chance to view and purchase local original art and give to an outstanding local program.

The Great Bay Stewards are the friends’ group for the Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve and support education, conservation and research.
