EXETER – The public is invited to attend free talks via WebEx about breast health and breast cancer during October. No registration is required, and questions are welcomed.
Nancy Potter, MSPT, Exeter Hospital Rehabilitation Services, will present “Exercise Prescription for Cancer Care” on Mon., October 26 at 5:00 p.m. Learn how to remain active during and after a cancer diagnosis, which is an important way to reduce fatigue, increase strength and help decrease treatment side effects.
“Mindfulness and Coping with Cancer” with speaker Suzanne Corbett, LICSW, Exeter Hospital’s Center for Cancer Care, will be offered on Wed., October 28 at 5:00 p.m. This is an introduction to mindfulness practice as a tool to reduce stress and improve mental health during cancer treatment or even related to the pandemic.
