Fremont Garden Club (FGC) held their annual greens workshop event on November 18 at the Fremont Public Library. Members came together with their cut greens to fashion kissing balls and swags to decorate the town buildings. Thank you to all of our members who worked so hard on this occasion. A special thank you to Sal Finocchiaro for the cutting and construction of all of the swags, and to Betty Stanley for the donation of the greens. Members also voted to donate $100.00 to the Fremont Food Pantry for their Christmas offerings.
Some special dates were decided on as follows: Fall clean up, November 22; Christmas decorating of the town buildings, November 29; FGC annual Christmas Party and Yankee Swap on December 9 at the home of Dianne Bolduc.
