EXETER — The Exeter Parks and Recreation Department has partnered with Exeter Conservation Commission to bring you a new family-friendly hiking series, “Exploring Exeter” featuring one trip each season throughout 2019, exploring Exeter’s Conservation Lands and open spaces. These guided hikes/walks will include popular sites, such as Exeter Country Club, Little River Trail, Raynes Farm, and many more!

The next hike will meet on Sat., July 20 at the Exeter Parks and Recreation building at 8:30 a.m. and bus out to the Little River Conservation Area access point off Garrison Lane. The group will explore Pete’s Path, a new trail dedicated to the late Pete Richardson. The walk will wander through gently sloping woodlands, over small brooks, and terminate at the Little River Footbridge. If the group desires, you will spend some time here exploring the shady hemlock grove along the Little River before returning along the same path to Garrison Lane.

There is no charge to attend. Please preregister by calling 603-773-6151.
