EXETER – The 7th Annual Economic Forecast will be held on Tues., January 29, from 7:30-9:00 a.m., at Breakfast Hill Golf Club located at 339 Breakfast Hill Road, Greenland.

Speakers include Ross Gittell, Ph.D, James R. Carter Professor and Professor of Management Whittemore School of Business and Economics University of New Hampshire, and Peter Francese, Director of Demographic Forecasts for the New England Economic Partnership.

Gittell will focus on the New Hampshire Economic Outlook. The current conditions and risks including the impact of declining home prices, rising energy costs and declining consumer confidence on the state and local economies.

Francese will focus on two questions: First, when will area home prices stabilize and when will home sales start to up. Second, what do the latest demographic trends tell us about our long term economic future.

The cost is $15.00 for Chamber members and $20.00 for non-members. This includes a continental breakfast. Reservations are required in advance.
