EAST KINGSTON —East Kingston Public Library Supports the Arts. Our library has an outstanding display area which has featured displays from many creative artists in the area. From student art shows to photography and fiber art works, all have been very well received.

Our current exhibit showcases the work of local photographer, Dennis Skillman. An East Kingston resident, Mr. Skillman specializes in images of birds and other animals in the wild and natural landscapes. His stunning display of owl portraits is on display now at the library. It is amazing that these predators live right in local backyards!

Nature's Outpost from North Hampton has set up a sample of owl houses for the yard. With their help you might invite one of these regal birds to move in or you can purchase a print from the photo display.

Check out our bird count as we count down days until spring and the return of our feathered friends.

Artists interested in displaying their work at the East Kingston Public Library should contact,Tracy Waldron, Director at 603-642-8333 or ekpublib@comcast.net.
