KINGSTON — NH Audubon’s own Scott Heron and Kingston Conservation Commission’s Evy Nathan will lead a bird walk on Green Road (meeting near the dog park) on Sat., May 8 at 8:00 a.m.
Learn to identify some of our migrating bird species as they return to northern forests, fields, and wetlands. Expect to hear and see Eastern Towhees, Bluebirds, Song sparrows, returning warblers, Northern waterthrush, ovenbirds, thrushes, and many more. Birding is a challenging skill and a great way to hone your citizen science skills.
Register online for this event at www.facebook.com/KingstonConservationCommission, or contact Evy at www.kingstonnh.org/conservation-commission, on the list of board members at the bottom of the page. Hiking boots, binoculars, and bug spray are highly recommended.
