Dr. Seuss lives on for children and adults too. Danville Elementary School first graders and kindergarten students got to meet “the real cat”, experience green eggs and delicious ham during the annual “Cat in the Hat” breakfast held at the school located at 23 School Street. The Cat (she was a tall one) entertained youngsters, at left, while first year student Hannah Collins, 6, waits her turn to show all the props honoring the famed author. She is the daughter of Christine and Robert Collins.
