AMESBURY, MA — The FlatBread Pizza, 5 Market Square, Amesbury is hosting a fundraiser for the Bartlett Museum on Tues., July 15, from 5:00-9:00 p.m. A percentage of each pizza purchased that evening will go towards the upkeep of the Museum building.

The Bartlett Museum is a non-profit organization that relies on fundraising, donations and membership to continue being an asset to the community. Located on 270 Main Street, Amesbury, the museum is open for tours from Memorial Day through Labor Day: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 –4:00 p.m. Also special tours at other times/days can be scheduled by calling 978-388-4528.

The 1870 Italianate style “Ferry School” and former Bartlett School house features local history in the former carriage industry, old maps, and mementos, a collection of prehistoric and Native American artifacts, memorabilia from Colonial, Federal and Victorian periods, a Natural History Room featuring birds, shells and fossils, an original vintage schoolroom and a carriage shed.

History buffs, collectors, genealogists and curiosity seekers are welcome.
