LONDONDERRY — The Aviation Museum of NH is pleased to offer a screening of the new “Ice Eagles” documentary on Sat., January 30 at 7:00 p.m. The cost is the museum admission of $10.00 per person.
Antarctica is the most extreme environment on earth. That reality has confronted every American aviation team since the first Byrd Antarctic Expedition in 1928-30. 'Ice Eagles' is the story of flying in this extreme environment, back then and through to the current day: a stunning look at U.S. military aviation operating under incredible cold weather adversity.
Introduced by director Tom Henderson, a veteran with two tours of duty in Antarctica, who will visit the Aviation Museum to discuss his film, flying at the "bottom of the world," and answer questions about his work.
The Aviation Museum of NH is located at 27 Navigator Road, Londonderry. The museum's regular hours of operation are Friday and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00-4:00 p.m. For more information, call 603- 669-4820, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit www.aviationmuseumofnh.org.
