EXETER —Laura Harper Lake presents a new body of work in her exhibition “Adrift the Surface” at Art Up Front Street Studios and Gallery in Exeter.
The opening reception is Fri., July 12 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and the exhibit is open July 12-31 during regular studio hours.
Through small, delicate oil paintings, Harper Lake explores the physicality of the floating human form in a dream like state, delving to what is deeper within. The emotional release of weightless-ness and the submergence of stress and anxiety are concepts that are explored in Harper Lake’s latest body of work.
