HAMPTON FALLS — The Hampton Falls Free Library invites you to learn the meaning of “zero waste” on Thurs., April 9 at 6:30 p.m.
This workshop, by environmental professional Sarah Atkinson, will explore the current state of waste in the U.S., what it means to be low waste, and how embracing a circular economy/mindset will help lead to a “zero waste” world. Get answers to your “zero waste” questions about grocery shopping, eating out, recycling/composting, and toiletries.
Sarah Atkinson is an environmental professional with experience in sustainability, consulting, marketing, and environmental education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from UC Berkeley. She has been leading low waste workshops in the Boston area for the past year.
