EXETER — Happy October! Exeter Public Library will host a number of spooky-themed events in the coming weeks.

Join Margo Burns on Mon., October 25 at 6:30 p.m., for ”The Capital Crime of Witchcraft: What the Primary Sources Tell Us”, and explore the Salem witchcraft trials of 1692 and 1693 plus other cases throughout New England.

On Mon., November 1 at 6:30 p.m., learn about a haunting murder case with J. Dennis Robinson during an event titled ”Case Closed on the 1873 Smuttynose Ax Murders”. Catch a classic spooky film on Wed., October 27 at 3:30 p.m.

Children’s and Teen services are also celebrating Halloween with upcoming events! Check out the many Halloween books the Children’s Room has to offer!

Make a model of your favorite candy at Lego Club on Wed., October 27 (ages 5+).

Catch a spooky movie during Teen Thursday on Thurs., October 21, and paint pumpkins on October 28! (grades 6-11).
