PLAISTOW — The library continues to be open for curbside service only during our "new normal" schedule of Mon.-Fri., 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Tuesday until 6:00 p.m.) and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. No appointments are necessary; simply call us when you arrive to pick up materials.

We will be closed on Mon., January 18 for Martin Luther King Day.

SWAG: There is a limited supply of our 20th-anniversary library mugs ($10) and tote bags ($15) left. Just stop by with cash or a check for curbside service.

TRIVIA: On Fri., January 15 at 6:30 p.m., join us on Zoom for another battle of wits with the Haverhill Public Library, hosted by legendary local trivia DJ Stephen R. Wagner! Register to play on our website.

STORYTIME: Don't forget, every Friday morning at 10:00 a.m., Miss Jenn goes on Facebook Live for Story Time. Baby Bears is on Zoom on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m., and Toddler Time for 2-3 year-olds is on Zoom Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to tune in for the fun.

STORYWALK: Our 18-station story walk right now features "Tracks in the Snow," so even when the library is closed, you can treat yourself to a great children's story with the kids -- and make your own tracks in the snow. (We'll be checking for fresh tracks!)

NAMASTE: Don't forget, our yoga and meditation guru Sybil Dodier goes live online on Tuesday and Friday mornings at 9:00 a.m. Find her on Facebook at "Sybil Dodier Yoga with Me" to sign up with the "Library Ladies" group.

BLOOD DRIVE: In 2020, Plaistow Public Library hosted all seven of our scheduled blood drives, plus an extra drive due to emergency shortages. In all, the library and the community helped the American Red Cross collect 221 units of life-saving blood through the pandemic, which was actually 32 more units than the previous year! Pre-register at to donate blood at our drives on January 26.
