KINGSTON — In light of the current developments, and for the health and safety of our patrons and staff, the Kingston Community Library will be closed to the public until further notice. However, the staff is available for questions Mon-Fri., 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. by phone (603-642-3521) or email (email@example.com).
The use of online library services will continue for patrons during this period. If you have a four-digit library card, please upgrade to a 14-digit card to utilize the digital services. Call or email, and we can upgrade your card remotely and issue your new number for immediate use.
The Internet is available through our Wi-Fi at the library if you sit in the herb garden or in your car.
BOOK CLUB – April 6 at 6:30 p.m.: Are you interested in reading “Little Fires Everywhere” by Celeste Ng? If you contact us by Fri., March 27, we will order a new copy for you to read. We will be meeting via email or by Zoom meeting.
If you want to read the book, “The Memory of Running” by Ron McLarty for the May 4 Book Club meeting, contact the library by Fri., March 27 (only if you are new to the club).
FOR THE CHILDREN
Grab and Go Crafts – On Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., we will put individually wrapped craft kits outside the library back door (the door attached to the craft room with the picnic table outside) for you to take home and enjoy. Let’s stay creative!
Puzzle Packs – On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., we will put individually wrapped puzzle packs and pencils outside the library back door (the door attached to the craft room with the picnic table outside) for you to take home and enjoy. Keep that brain active!
Story Walk & Fitness Forrest – Get some fresh air, visit the trail and read our story walk. Kids can also complete the exercise stations along the way!
Outdoor Scavenger Hunt – Stop at the start of the library trail to pick up a scavenger hunt. Find all of the items on the list for some outdoor fun. Please keep the pencil you use!
Live Story Time Coming Soon – We are in the process of introducing live a story time and read-aloud for pre-school and middle school children. Watch this space and check our website for updates www.kingston-library.org.
