KINGSTON —Kingston Community Library will present “It’s Not About the Hike” on Thurs., October 30 at 7:00 p.m. This is an inspirational and motivational program about pushing yourself, overcoming fears, finding your passions, and living your life to the fullest.

Learn how to make an evergreen wreath to hang on your door this holiday season on Sat., November 8 at 10:00 a.m. The whole family will enjoy working on this project together. Calling all adventurers ages 9 and up! Don’t miss an introduction to Dungeons and Dragons on Tues., November 4 and 18 at 6:00 p.m. New and experienced players are welcome.

“Contra Dancing in New Hampshire: Then and Now” with Dudley Laufman will be held on Thurs., November 6 at 7:00 p.m. Come hear a fascinating lecture about the history and popularity of Contra Dancing with live music, demonstrations, and audience participation! Light refreshments will be served.

Children ages 9 and up and grownups are welcome to the Little Big Book Club on Tues., November 11 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss “The Hobbit” by J.R.R. Tolkien. Light refreshments will be served.
