EAST KINGSTON — The East Kingston Friends of the Library group has scheduled an important meeting at the Pound School on Sat., February 16 at 2:00 p.m.
Over the years, the Friends have been vital to the growth and success of the library.
Their sale of used books and other fundraising activities support library programming year-round. They are actively looking for new board members. Can you help?
Many of the programs our patrons enjoy at the library are made possible by the Friends support.
This month alone we will be offering programs for children:
Story hour for toddlers on Mondays and Fridays at 10:00 a.m.; Magic Tree House Book Club on Tues., February 18 at 3:30 p.m. (sign up required); Beyond the Book Page Turners book club on Thurs., February 20 at 4:00 p.m.; Mardi Gras on Tues., February 25 at 3:00 p.m.; Imagarena, a building challenge, on Wed., February 26 at 11:00 a.m. (this activity requires advance sign up to reserve your spot); and Makers Meeting Magnet Mazes on Sat., February 29 at 10:30 a.m.

Kanopy, an online movie streaming service open to our patrons; Inter-library loan of books, ebooks, and audios through the New Hampshire state system; Museum passes; and the best of the new releases in both fiction and nonfiction.
