BRENTWOOD — We are taking a break from our Friday Morning Movies, watch for them to return in the fall.

Stop by on Sat., June 8 at 1:00 p.m. for our Lego Challenge. We provide the bricks and the challenge (which will be announced the day of the program), or you may make you own creation. All creations will be highlighted on display at the library. Come build with us!

Get ready for the summer farmers markets - join us for our Cookbook Book Club on Mon., June 10 at 6:30 p.m. when the theme will be "fruits & vegetables" (interpret as you will). The challenge is to find a recipe based on the theme, make it, and bring it in to share with the group. While enjoying everyone's recipe, we'll chat about the process, flavors and cookbooks. Please call or stop by to register.

Did you know you can register online for most programs (such as the one mentioned above)? From our website, hover over the "Programs" tab, click "Event Registration" from the drop down menu, fill in required fields, choose the program you wish to attend and click "submit." It is that easy! Need help? Stop in and see us and we will gladly walk you through the steps.

Start the summer off right at the MEB Library on Thurs., June 13 when we help you celebrate the last day of school with an Ice-Pops Party! Bring a friend or two and head over to the library for your ice-pop while supplies last.

Stay tuned for our All Age Summer Reading Program, "Universe of Stories" Blast Off coming June 17!
