BRENTWOOD — Come learn about our 3D Printer on Tues., January 21 at 3:30 pm. We invite you to design an item at this workshop and we will print it for you. We will also have other 3D design activities for you to try. Registration is required. Thank you again to the Friends of the MEB Library for this wonderful addition to our library.
Modern Brush Lettering is all the rage! Join Instructor Toni on Thurs., January 23 at 6:00 p.m. as she teaches the basic strokes and character to get you started on beautiful hand lettering. Materials are provided and registration is required and space is limited. This is a free workshop.
Life gets hectic and sometimes you just want to sit down with a good book. We can be your go-to place with our Silent Book Club on Tuesdays at 4:30 p.m. A patron volunteer has offered to watch our younger patrons while parents take a break and sit quietly for an hour of uninterrupted reading. No registration is required; feel free to drop-in!
The MEB Library will be closed on Mon., January 20 in observance of MLK Day. Be sure to check out our display highlighting material honoring Martin Luther King.
Be sure to also visit one of the many End-cap Displays located in the main room of the library (and yes - we encourage you to borrow these books!). They are updated frequently and many times offer materials related to recent or upcoming programs, workshops, and events. For example, we currently have a display for Crazy Hat Day! Have an idea for an end-cap display? Let us know - we love patron feedback!
