EXETER — Exeter Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce their annual Concert Series! All concerts are held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Swasey Pavilion 316 Water Street in Exeter. Each year the series showcases high-quality artists featuring a variety of genres of music.

Come sing, dance and have fun!

Upcoming concerts include:

June 20: Gretchen and the Pickpockets (A Blend of Genres): Named after a hometown road with a history for larceny, the group has become known for their unique blend of genres and their energetic live shows. Since banding together at the University of New Hampshire over a mutual love of jazz, soul and rock and roll, Gretchen & the Pickpockets have been sharing their sound with audiences all across the United States. 

June 27: Cold Engines (American Soul, R&B, and Rock and Roll):Cold Engines, (Best Rock Band 2016), (Song of the Year 2017 Nom.). New England Music Awards, is an amalgamation of some of the finest players on Boston’s north shore. Brought together by David Drouin and Aaron Zaroulis of The Brew, this all-star cast of artists brings together a mix of soul, new wave, rock, and dance all across the country.

July 11: Groove Lounge (Acoustic versions of dance, R & B and garage classics).

July 13: Whiskey Horse (Rocking Country Music): Whiskey Horse plays foot stompin' bar rockin' country, from Hank Williams, Dwight Yoakam, Eric Church, John Pardi, Turnpike Troubadours, Dierks Bentley, Stones, Peter Wolf and more! The show will be followed by fireworks at 8:45 p.m.

July 18: Driving Force (Classic rock band): Driving Force Band is a five-piece classic rock band. What is unique about the band is that they all sing which allows them to do some nice harmonies.

July 25: Dan Walker & Co. (Acoustic Folk Rock Pop & Blues Soul): Dan Walker is excited to bring his brand of Folk Rock Pop to your world stage! With over twenty years of professional experience, Dan has opened up for many great artists such as Martin Sexton, Livingston Taylor, Merle Haggard, Roseanne Cash and the Ryan Montbleau Band.

August 1: Blue Heartache (Classic and contemporary country): Blue heartache is a country/rock music cover band based in Seabrook. They perform a wide range of tunes: classics and contemporary country, rock n roll, blues, and Americana and can tailor their set list to match the preferences of the venue.

August 8: Wheel of Awesomeness: Part trivia, part game show and all about the music, Jon McCormack Presents: The Wheel of Awesome-featuring Tim McCoy, Chris Sink, Rick Habib. It's a star-studded extravaganza incorporating live music, improvisation and comedy in an unpredictable "no set list" format where a spin of the ‘Wheel of Awesome’ dictates what the band does next.

August 15: The Reminisants (The 1950's-1990's): The Reminisants have been entertaining audiences of all ages throughout New England since 1973. The band specializes in music from the 1950’s through the 90’s, playing a collection of great music for all kinds of musical tastes and generations.
