PORTSMOUTH — New Hampshire Theatre Project presents “Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood” by Ken Ludwig. The production runs through Sun., January 26 with performances on Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m., and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

NHTP starts 2020 with a fresh family favorite packed with laughs, thrills, romance, some singing, and immortal characters like Robin Hood, Little John, Friar Tuck, and Maid Marian. In this fun new adaptation by comic genius playwright Ken Ludwig, Maid Marian is the real hero leading Robin to fight against the tyrannical government. And wow, is she good with a bow and arrow!

“Sherwood” tells the enduring story of a hero of the people who take on the ruthless powers that be. So get ready to duck a quarterstaff or two - you won’t want to miss a moment of this fast-paced swashbuckling adventure.
