LONDONDERRY — Witches and their flying broomsticks mean Halloween and aviation are made for each other. The Aviation Museum of N.H. will feature a huge selection of Halloween decorative items for sale on several display tables, with all proceeds to benefit the Aviation Museum. Thanks very much to Glenda and Ed Fischer for making available Glenda's lifetime collection of spooky treasures to support the museum! These gift tables will be out through Sun., October 31 (or until sold out!)
For Halloween this year, they're going all out on Sat., October 23, when the Aviation Museum of N.H. will become the 'Haunted Halloween Hangar'—a spooky place where kids can get their official "Broomstick Pilot's License" to fly a broomstick on Halloween. But to get the license, they'll have to visit the haunted hangar (a/k/a the Slusser Center), where the ghosts of aviation history will tell of their exploits and hand out treats. At the end, as they exit via the back door, kids will get an official Broomstick Pilot License with their picture on it.
The Aviation Museum of N.H. is located at 27 Navigator Road in Londonderry. For more information, go to www.aviationmuseumofnh.org or call 603-669-4820.
