RAYMOND — A "Fun and Games" night for females age 11-17 sponsored by female Scouts BSA Troop 3 will be held on Wed., September 18 and 7:00 p.m. at the gymnasium of the Iber Holmes Gove Middle School, 1 Stephen Batchelder Parkway, Raymond. This is a regional troop that currently has scouts from four different towns.
Adult leaders will be present to provide information about the troop which meets regularly on Wednesday nights between 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the Congregational Church of Raymond, 1 Church Street, Raymond.
The troop was founded in February with an active outdoor program and has made trips to the White Mountains, Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium, and the Sebago Lake region in Maine. A camping trip to Vermont is planned for October. For more information, email Troop3Raymond@gmail.com.
The Congregational Church of Raymond also charters a male Scouts BSA Troop 3, with an active outdoor program of monthly camping trips, including at least two White Mountain climbs every year. It is also a regional troop with scouts from multiple towns.
