SANDOWN —Are you ready to start your fall season off right with something just for you? Check out this new offering from Sandown Recreation beginning the week of September 20 at the Ed Garvey Recreation Facility located at 25 Pheasant Run Drive.
“Adult Fit Club”, with certified instructor Heidi, will be geared towards burning calories and building muscle during a sixty-minute strength training session.
Workouts are designed to be adaptable for the beginner to the advanced exerciser. What does that mean? For example, let’s say that one of the activities is to get around the outside of a building as quickly as you can. There may be those who take off running; someone may jog, and yet others may walk at a pace that is comfortable for them. That’s how the program runs. You do you and go at your own pace using your own body weight, resistance bands, or handheld weights. You’ll get your work out bright and early before you are busy with other things OR later in the day if that’s more convenient.
Cost is as follows: Attend twice a week for six weeks and pay $180.00 or attend once per week and pay $90.00. If you want to purchase just a certain number of classes you may at $20.00 per session. All single-session purchases must be used within the current six-week session and will expire when the six weeks ends.
