What seems to be and what some folks would call “back in the day” in the land of Kingston, NH, one’s attention would be focused on a car, not just any car mind you - this vehicle say on a pile of railroad ties. The entertainment for many was the ties were set on fire and the car would drop when all the ties were nothing but embers. The NH Legislature passed a bill that allows this part of history to be reenacted. The Kingston Volunteer Fire Association will sponsor the Bonfire on Sat., June 29 and will be ignited at 9:30 p.m. It will be three stories tall with a car on the top, so bring your easy chair and camera in the name of Kingston’s 325th Anniversary.
