HAMPTON — The James House Association, Inc. invites the public to the following educational and entertaining events at 186 Towle Farm Road in Hampton. Children and adults are welcome.
Special Program: 1st annual James House Concert, Sun., September 22, 2:00 p.m. Featuring: The Cold Spring Harbor Billy Joel Tribute Band. This is a benefit concert. Entrance fee $10.00 per attendee. Children under age 6 free. Event includes 50/50 raffle and silent auction.
Open House Days: September 29, October 13 and 27, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Tour the James Farmstead and House with Skip Webb. Ongoing weaving and spinning demonstrations are provided by James House Master Weaver Dianne Howes. Attendance free.
Spirit Chasers Paranormal Events: Limited to those 18 years and older.
September 20, Two James House paranormal tours with Wily Hassel and Lynne Nickerson, 7:30 and 9:00 p.m., donations requested.
September 21, Séance at The James House with psychic Lesley Marden, 7:00-9:00 p.m. Attendance limited to 7, $20.00 per person.
September 28, Séance at The James House with psychic Val Lafaso, 7:00-9:00 p.m. Attendance limited to 7, $20.00 per person.
October 19, Public Ghost Hunt at the James House, 7:00 to midnight. Attendance limited to 10 people,
$25.00 per person.
