HAMPSTEAD —The Hampstead Lions Club is holding its annual Fall Appliance / Scrap Metal & Electronics Recycling Fundraiser on Sat., October 23, from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Hampstead Middle School, 28 School Street. All funds raised will go toward Lions Charitable efforts in the local community.

Sample Fees are: washers, dryers, stoves and dishwashers – $15.00; refrigerators, water heaters, freezers, air conditioners – $20.00; computers: full systems – $35.00, CRT monitors up to 27 inches $25.00, flat monitors up to 27” $10.00, CPU’s or laptops – $15.00 each, printer – $5.00, telephones – $1.00, small appliances (microwaves, fax machines, etc.) – $5.00; TVs: up to 27” $20.00, over 27”, and consoles and projection TV’s, are $30.00 to $40.00 depending on the size. Certain bulk scrap metal items, such as barbeque grills ($10.00) and empty propane tanks with valves removed ($10.00), may be accepted, as well.

The Hampstead Lions Club has a limited pick up service available for an additional fee if you have items to recycle, but cannot get them to the event.
