PORTSMOUTH — Families First is pleased to offer “Parenting Bravely” on August 8 and 22 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at 100 Campus Drive in Portsmouth.
Dr. Brené Brown is a professor and researcher who has a lot to teach us about courage, shame, vulnerability and empathy. In this two-part class (August 8 and August 22), listen to and discuss her Ted Talks and interviews, and walk away with ideas and inspiration for “parenting bravely.” Led by Patrice Baker. (This is part of an ongoing series that meets every Thursday morning and alternates between focused discussions around a topic — such as “Parenting Bravely” — and unstructured conversation with other parents and caregivers. Join every Thursday morning to learn, laugh, ask questions, and enjoy a morning out while your children socialize in the playroom.)
