Pajama and Storybook Donation Drive

BRENTWOOD —Three Girl Scout troops from Brentwood are teaming up to collect donations of new pajamas and new storybooks to benefit Pajama Program, New Hampshire Chapter.

Pajama Program is a national non-profit organization dedicated to supporting a comforting bedtime routine for all children to help them thrive. Since 2001, the organization has provided over 6.5 million inspiring storybooks and cozy pajamas to children nationwide who are experiencing challenges beyond their control, as well as critical resources for caregivers to support children at bedtime.

Brentwood Girl Scout Troops #11138, #51211, and #51227, with girls ranging in age from kindergarten through 4th grade, are sponsoring a Donation Drive on Sat., June 22, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Brentwood Recreation Center, 190 Route 125 in Brentwood. They are seeking donations of new pajamas (all sizes are needed, including adult sizes for the teens served through the program) and new storybooks for all reading levels.

If you are unable to deliver to the collection site, the Girl Scouts would be happy to pick up your donation in advance. Donated items will be distributed to homeless and foster children right here in Rockingham County. Please contact Julie Morrow at 517-927-4686 or with questions or to arrange a donation.
