BRENTWOOD — The Outdoor Concert Series at First Baptist Church, 201 North Road, Brentwood, continues to roll along every other summer Saturday evening.
Up next are Bobby and Ally, a husband and wife singer/songwriter duo who have performed from the White Mountains of New Hampshire to Nashville, TN with their engaging blend of what has become known as “American Roots” music—part folk, part country, with a bit of rock thrown in for good measure.
Plan to join on Sat., July 24, under the tents behind the church. The show begins at 7:00 p.m.—there is no admission charge, but they do “pass the hat” to offset a portion of the series.
You can bring your own lawn chair or blanket, or simply use one of the chairs they provide—the choice is yours.
Following the show, they offer free refreshments: iced tea and cookies, as well as the opportunity to meet and talk with the performers.
The Brentwood concerts are always a relaxing fun time and they are rain or shine events. If the weather is uncooperative, they simply move inside.
Following Bobby and Ally on the July 24 will be the Jordan TW Trio on August 7, then the series finale with Becky Riley, on August 21. Please don’t miss any of these wonderful entertainers under God’s beautiful summer sky.
